Aligning with the NUCB's mission statement, this course aims to nurture innovative, ethical leaders who possess a ‘Frontier Spirit’ in managing people in response to the contemporary challenges in the New Asian and global context.
授業の目的(意義) / Importance of this course
This course is designed to help students understand how individuals, teams, and organizational systems behave and interact in the workplace. As the foundation of human-centered management, Organizational Behavior (OB) helps future leaders develop practical insights into motivation, leadership, power, conflict, trust, and culture. The course enhances students’ self-awareness and equips them with interpersonal skills critical to team collaboration and ethical decision-making. Especially in diverse and global work environments, understanding OB is essential to building productive, respectful, and resilient organizations.

By completing this course, students will be able to:
1. Identify and explain key concepts in Organizational Behavior such as motivation, leadership, team dynamics, organizational culture, and workplace stress.

"Pre-class Preparation"
Students are expected to study each case and prepare their own answers to the questions in the assignment files. Participants should allow at least 3 hours of preparation time per case.
A laptop computer is required for the electronic distribution of handouts on the day of the class.
"Class Discussion"
The class is based on open discussions and students are facilitated to exchange their opinions with their classmates. During the open discussions, students are expected to think flexibly and adjust their opinions. No specific comment may be given to each student's opinion, but students will know if their opinions are appreciated by listening to their classmates' feedback.
"Final Report"
Theme: Reflective essay
Assignment: Please refer to the instructions posted on Google Classroom.
Deadline: Approximately 1 week after the course has ended.
Submission method: Please submit to Google Classroom.

担当教員のプロフィール About the Instructor
Jeeyoon (Luna) Jeong is an Assistant Professor at NUCB Business School. Before joining NUCB, she was a Research Professor at Korea University Business School. She received her Ph.D. in Management with a focus on Organizational Behavior from Korea University Business School, South Korea. Her research has been published extensively in international ABDC A-ranked journals including Journal of Knowledge Management and Personnel Review. Her research interests span leadership, organizational AI adoption, knowledge management, human resource management, and congruence effect.
