授業の概要 Course Overview
Mission Statementとの関係性 / Connection to our Mission Statement
Aligned with NUCB's mission, this course aims to develop innovative and ethical leaders with a ‘Frontier Spirit’ equipped to manage human resources effectively in response to contemporary global challenges.
授業の目的(意義) / Importance of this course
This course introduces students to the principles and practices of Human Resources Management (HRM) from a managerial perspective. Rather than viewing HR as an administrative support function, students learn how HR decisions shape organizational performance, employee engagement, and long-term competitiveness.
Using decision-oriented cases and a people analytics simulation, students will examine how organizations design workforce structures, recruit and select talent, manage performance, design compensation systems, build capabilities, and retain employees. The course emphasizes the integration of HR practices as a coherent system rather than isolated policies.
