授業の目的(意義) / Importance of this course
The Case Writing Seminar comprises a sequence of four semester-long courses designed to equip and assist students in the successful creation of a case and insight note. Case Writing Seminar I serves as the initial course in this series. Global BBA students are obligated to submit and present a case as part of the graduation requirements.

Upon completing Case Writing Seminar I, students should demonstrate the ability to formulate a case writing proposal that integrates original insights and critically evaluates real-world business cases. Each student is expected to present the case writing proposal along with a comprehensive action plan and timeline.

The seminar involves a systematic development of the case and insight notes by students. Written submissions, feedback, and subsequent revisions are integral components of the course structure.
"Pre-Class Preparation"
Students are required to prepare their work following the instructions provided by the supervisor before each class. Participants are encouraged to allocate a minimum of 1 hour for preparation before each session.
A laptop computer is essential for the electronic distribution of handouts on the class day.

担当教員のプロフィール About the Instructor
Dr. Hui is an Associate Professor in the area of management at NUCB. He obtained his Doctor of Philosophy (Organizational Behavior and Management) from City University of Hong Kong. His academic interests include leadership, employee coaching, HRM, work motivation, and employee adaptation in organizational contexts. His research work has been published in numerous international refereed journals, such as Journal of Organizational Behavior, International Journal of Human Resource Management, Australian Journal of Management, and Career Development International.
(実務経験 Work experience)
Prior to joining NUCB, Dr. Hui taught in five different universities in Hong Kong and Macau, including the City University of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, University of Macau, Hang Seng University of Hong Kong, and Open University of Hong Kong. He has extensive experiences in delivering Business Management and Human Resource Management (HRM) courses, in English, at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
