授業の概要 Course Overview
Misson Statementとの関係性 / Connection to our Mission Statement
One of the NUCB`s mission is to educate ethical leaders who possess a `Frontier Sprit` and to create knowledge that advances business and society. This course not only provides students with an opportunity to ponder current environment issues, but also to develop ways to actively solve these problems.
授業の目的(意義) / Importance of this course
Global environment issues have become one of the most urgent and challenging problems over the last couple of decades. However, one state cannot resolve these issues alone. It is only possible when the global efforts from states, international organizations, and business sector all cooperate together in order to deal with these environmental problems.
Bearing this in mind, this course will introduce students to the main issues of the global environment, with particular emphasis on climate change and energy issues. It also deals with the global environmental governance from the domestic to international political perspective.
