This course equips students with essential economic tools to make informed business decisions in a rapidly changing global economy. By covering key concepts such as macroeconomic models, cost and production, demand and supply analysis, and market structures, students gain a deep understanding of how these factors impact business strategy. Real-world case studies ensure practical application, preparing future business leaders to navigate uncertainty and drive growth.

Course Prerequisites
○ Subject topics will be taught using case studies. Pre-reading is essential. It is recommended that participants spend at least 1 hours preparing for each case, including previewing the fundamental knowledge provided in the casebook. Assignment questions will be provided before class to facilitate understanding of related information and relevant case studies.

Class Discussion
○ The course is designed to be highly interactive, with class discussions playing a pivotal role in reinforcing economic concepts. Through these discussions, participants will connect theoretical knowledge with practical economic decision-making.

Feedback Methods
○ During these sessions, participants can discuss their individual progress, seek clarification on any doubts, and obtain personalized guidance.

Active participation and shared learning is at the core of the case method learning.Participants are asked to limit their use of electronic devices (e.g., laptops, smartphones) during classroom sessions in support of this model. Even with permission granted, devices should only be used in the classroom in service to the case discussion. Online searches and generative AI tools, even if related to the case discussion, are discouraged while class is in session.
  2. Students are prohibited from using the course materials (including cases) distributed by the university for any purpose other than participation in the designated class.Students must not input, process or test course materials with any artificial intelligence (AI) tools, bots, software, or platforms without the author’s permission. These actions violate the terms of use for the course materials and may also constitute copyright infringement.
