事前学修と事後学修の内容、レポート、課題に対するフィードバック方法 Pre- and Post-Course Learning, Report, Feedback methods
From week one to week seven, lectures are given in a flexible 200-minute session per week, which will provide students with basic concepts of financial management. In addition, practice questions, quick quizzes, and cases are set to help students consolidate their understanding.
Students need to get familiar with spreadsheet programs, i.e., Microsoft Excel. This is the main method to solve computation problems. Students are also provided necessary worksheets (via Google Classroom) for case analyses and discussions. Some basic instruction will also be given.
Students are required to discuss in-class cases and case assignments. There is no fixed solution for case problems. Decisions are made based on sound financial assumptions and an in-depth analysis of the situation. The purpose of the case method is to help students define and address problems, collaborate with other students to give the best solution, and suggest the best course of actions.
