授業の概要 Course Overview

フロンティアスピリットを通して、イノベーティブ且つ倫理観を踏まえたビジネスアイデアを生み出すための知識と思考力を習得する。セミナー3では特に、マーケティングの全体像を理解した上で、自身の身の回りの事象を説明するスキルを身につける。
Through Frontier Spirit, students will acquire the knowledge and thinking skills to create innovative and ethical business ideas. In particular, Seminar 3 will provide an understanding of the big picture of marketing.

授業の目的(意義) / Importance of this course

マーケティングや消費者行動に関する様々な理論を理解し、ミニケースを使って、実際のビジネスにどのように応用できそうか議論することができるようになる。
Students will be able to understand various types of theories related to marketing or consumer behavior, and be able to apply them to their everyday lives.

到達目標 / Achievement Goal

新聞や雑誌で流行現象や企業についての情報を目にした際に、マーケティングや消費者行動論の理論枠組みを使って説明できるようになる。
 例)なぜClubhouseは流行っているのか。
   なぜコロナ禍に◯◯社の業績は過去最高を記録することができたのか。
   なぜ◯◯社のプロモーションは記憶に残るのか。
上記のような問いに、理論を使って説明ができるようになる。

When students see information about a market trend or company outcome in a newspaper or magazine, they will be able to explain of its mechanism using the theoretical framework of marketing and consumer behavior theory.
Ex) Why is Clubhouse so popular?
  Why did Company A achieve a record high performance in spite of the situation of Covid 19?
  Why are Company B's promotions so memorable?
You will be able to use theories to explain the above questions.

事前学修と事後学修の内容、レポート、課題に対するフィードバック方法 Pre- and Post-Course Learning, Report, Feedback methods

1)準備学習:毎週数名の方を発表者として指名します。発表担当者が準備にかける時間は3−4時間を想定している。ケースディスカッションは全員参加で行う
 ●発表担当は、テキストを読んだ上で、以下についてプレゼンテーションを行う。
 ・理論の概要をわかりやすく説明する。
 ・聞き手は、発表内容を積極的に傾聴した上で、質問、コメント等を行う。
 ●クラス全体でケースディスカッションを行う。
2)課題に対するフィードバック方法
 ・発表内容には、随時フィードバックを行う。また、提出レポートは採点の上、返却する。
3)中央情報センター(図書館)の活用について
 ・積極的に情報収集をすることで、興味の幅を広げてもらいたい。

(実務経験 Work experience)

キヤノン株式会社にてグローバルロジスティクスに従事した後、共同通信社にて株価や為替等の金融情報配信に携わる。その後NTTデータ経営研究所、ドリームインキュベータ等にて、経営コンサルティング(商業施設のコンセプト立案、化粧品会社のブランド戦略立案、ゲームメーカーのグローバル戦略等)、ベンチャーインキュベーション事業(投資から株式上場までを支援)に従事する。

After working for Canon Inc. in global logistics, engaged in the reporting of international financial news such as stock market prices and exchange rates at Kyodo News. After that, worked at NTT Data Institute of Management Consulting and Dream Incubator, where engaged in management consulting (concept making for a shopping centers, brand strategy planning for a cosmetics company, global strategy for a game maker, etc.) and venture incubation business (support from investment to IPO).
