世界で起きている紛争は、ビジネスや経済にも影響を与えます。国際安全保障に関する基本的知識の習得は、本学のミッションでもある世界的視野を持って、国際舞台で活躍することにおいて有用です。
Conflicts happening around the world affect business and economy. Learning basic knowledge of international security will ultimately help students succeeding in international society with global perspectives, which is stated in this university’s mission goal.
授業の目的（意義） / Importance of this course
本講義では、国際安全保障の様々な理論や概念を、ケースを用いて学んでゆきます。本講義は、学生が国際安全保障に関する基本的知識を身に着け、様々な角度から安全保障にかかわる課題を理解し、紛争の平和的解決や第三国の軍事的介入といった事象を分析できるようにすることを目標にします。
In this course, students will learn various theories and concepts of International Security by using cases. The objective of this course is to provide basic knowledge of international security to students and to develop students’ ability to learn security issues from various points of view, which will help students to analyze international security affairs such as peaceful resolutions or third-party military interventions.

既存の理論で説明できないケースや、実際の平和交渉において直面する課題など、国際社会の抱える安全保障の課題を考察する実践力を養います。
By learning cases that cannot be explained with the existing theories or by learning the challenges in the actual peace negotiations, students will be able to develop practical skills to analyze the international security challenges that international society face.

安全保障の概念を学びます。

《民主主義平和》民主主義による平和論や、民主化と紛争について考察します。
●使用するケース
この日の授業でケースを使用する予定：オリジナルケース作成中第3日（Day3）
《内戦》今日の紛争の大半を占める内戦とは何か、内戦はなぜ起きるのかといったことを学びます。
●使用するケース
この日の授業でケースを使用する予定：オリジナルケース作成中第4日（Day4）
《非正規戦争：テロと反乱》テロや反乱における戦略や対反乱作戦のジレンマなどを学びます。
●使用するケース

《第三国の介入》紛争における第三国の介入（軍事介入や人道的介入）について学びます。
