本講義は「人はなぜ働くのか」「人は働かなければならないのか」といった問いを扱う。フロンティアスピリッツをもって働く、ということを目指す学生が働くと言うことについて考える機会を作ります。
This lecture will handle the problem: "why do man work?" or "Why do we have to work?".
授業の目的（意義） / Importance of this course
「働くこと」「働かなければならないこと」は「当然のこと」として考えられ、それについてわざわざ考える人、質問する人 は鼻で笑われるか、悪い場合は社会（会社？）にふさわしくない人間として憎まれることすらある。しかしながら実際のところ、これらの問いに明確な答えが与 えられたことはなかったのである。本講義はあえてそのような問いについて考えることが目的です。
Than man works, or has to work, is the natural presupposition, and people shrug their shoulders or be angry to the questioner. However no clear-cut answer had been given to these questions, even in the University
到達目標 / Achievement Goal
大学においてすら「どのように（うまく）働くか」が問題にされることはあっても、「なぜ働くか」という問いは扱われるこ とは稀である。本講義ではこの問いを、日本における労働状況や西洋における労働思想を通じて、正面から論じてみたい。将来何らかの形で「働く」ということ と触れることになるであろう学生にとって、考えるヒントを与えられる講義が目指される。
This lecture will attempt to face these problems in several aspects, the working situations in Japan, the philosophy about work in European philosophy, etc
