授業の目的(意義) / Importance of this course

Task-based with intense students' participation. This is a Business English class. It is important to know Japanese Business Etiquette Basics if you want to work in an international company and become a successful business leader.
The teacher will give students projects and tasks to complete. These projects are presentations, emails, travel plans, entertaining foreign
visitors. Students will be assigned to small groups and complete the projects.
Active participation will be evaluated as part of your grade for the course.

"For TOEIC Compulsory Classes, students are required to take the TOEIC on campus as follows:

・Students who take TOEIC compulsory courses in Term 1&2, June TOEIC is a must.

・Students who take TOEIC compulsory courses in Term 3, September TOEIC is a must.

・Students who take TOEIC compulsory courses in Term 4, December TOEIC is a must.

Failing to do so, a student will receive 'Incomplete' for his/her grade for the course they could not fulfill the requirement".

  1. Active participation and shared learning is at the core of the case method learning.Participants are asked to limit their use of electronic devices (e.g., laptops, smartphones) during classroom sessions in support of this model. Even with permission granted, devices should only be used in the classroom in service to the case discussion. Online searches and generative AI tools, even if related to the case discussion, are discouraged while class is in session.
  2. Students are prohibited from using the course materials (including cases) distributed by the university for any purpose other than participation in the designated class.Students must not input, process or test course materials with any artificial intelligence (AI) tools, bots, software, or platforms without the author’s permission.
