本科目では、国際ボランティア活動について学ぶことを通じ、国際的に活躍できるグローバル人材の育成を図るという点で本学のMission Statementと関係している。

This course is related to the University's Mission Statement in that it aims to develop global human resources who can be active internationally through learning about international volunteer activities.

本科目は、国際ボランティア活動に関する基本概念や具体的な実践を理解することを通して、グローバル人材になる上で必要な考え方や姿勢を学ぶ。本科目は主に多様性への気づきや異なる立場の人々に関わる力の向上を目指すものであり、国際ボランティア活動に参加予定の学生のみならず、グローバル社会での活躍を目指す学生を対象とした科目である。

In this course, students will learn the mindset and attitude necessary to become global citizens through understanding the basic concepts and specific practices related to international volunteer activities. This course mainly aims to improve students' awareness of diversity and their ability to relate to people in different positions. Therefore, this course is designed not only for students who plan to participate in international volunteer activities but also for students who aim to be active in a global society. By learning this course, students will be able to explain the basic knowledge of international volunteer activities.

本科目では、国際ボランティア活動に関するまなびを通じて、多様性への気づきや、異なる立場の人々とかかわる力の向上を目指す（LG2、LG7）。また、講義における事例の検討を通じてクリティカルシンキング能力（LG1）、グループ討議を通して倫理的な意思決定（LG3）やコミュニケーション能力（LG４）を培う。

This course aims to improve students' awareness of diversity and their ability to relate to people in different situations through learning about international volunteer activities (LG2, LG7). In addition, students will develop critical thinking skills (LG1) through case studies in lectures, ethical decision-making (LG3), and communication skills (LG4) through group discussions.

本科目を学ぶことで、学生は国際ボランティア活動の基礎知識を説明できるようになる。また、それらの知識をもとに国際ボランティア活動をめぐる課題に対して積極的に意見を述べることができるようになる。

Students will be able to explain the basic knowledge of international volunteer activities, and based on this knowledge, they will be able to actively express their opinions on issues related to international volunteer activities.

事前学習として、課題文献を読んで自主的に考察を行うこと（60分程度）。課題は授業開始の5日前までにGoogle Classroom上に提示するので、履修者はGoogle Classroomの通知設定をしておくこと。
毎授業の終わりに小テストを実施するので、授業後は授業内容を復習し、自分の興味関心に応じて自主的に学習を深めること（90分程度）。
最終日には試験を実施する。
※予習及び復習については中央情報センター（図書館）を活用すること。
