授業の概要　Course Overview

本講義は「人はなぜ働くのか」「人は働かなければならないのか」といった問いを扱う。これらの問いは、人々が実際に働くとき、学ぶときには、いったん脇に どけられ、忘れられるものだろう。
This lecture will handle the problem: "why do man work?" or "Why do we have to work?".

授業の目的（意義） / Importance of this course

「働くこと」「働かなければならないこと」は「当然のこと」として考えられ、それについてわざわざ考える人、質問する人 は鼻で笑われるか、悪い場合は社会（会社？）にふさわしくない人間として憎まれることすらある。しかしながら実際のところ、これらの問いに明確な答えが与 えられたことはなかったのである。
Than man works, or has to work, is the natural presupposition, and people shrug their shoulders or be angry to the questioner. However no clear-cut answer had been given to these questions, even in the University.

到達目標 / Achievement Goal

大学においてすら「どのように（うまく）働くか」が問題にされることはあっても、「なぜ働くか」という問いは扱われるこ とは稀である。本講義ではこの問いを、日本における労働状況や西洋における労働思想を通じて、正面から論じてみたい。将来何らかの形で「働く」ということ と触れることになるであろう学生にとって、考えるヒントを与えられる講義が目指される。

This lecture will attempt to face these problems in several aspects, the working situations in Japan, the philosophy about work in European philosophy, etc

担当教員のプロフィール　About the Instructor　

東京大学大学院人文社会系研究科倫理学専門分野博士課程単修了、
2015 年より現職。
倫理学を専門とし、主にカント哲学の分野において、倫理的感情の探
求を行う。現在の研究内容は「カント倫理学とヘーゲルの比較」。

Completed doctoral course in ethics, Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Tokyo,
He has been in his current position since 2015.
Specializing in ethics, searching for ethical emotions, mainly in the field of Kant's philosophy
