この授業を通じて、受講生は日本語のライティングスキル(特にアカデミック・ライティングとビジネス・ライティング)と、本学のMission Statementである「新時代のアジアと世界をつなぐ能力」を身につけることができる。

Thorough this class, students will have their Japanese writing skills and "the ability to bridge the gap between New Asia and the rest of the world".

授業の目的(意義) / Importance of this course

【授業の目的(意義)】

この授業は、日本語上級レベルの留学生がアカデミック・ライティング、およびビジネス・ライティングのスキルを身につけることを目的としています。

この授業の学習目標は、LG1(批判的思考)、LG4(効果的なコミュニケーション)、およびLG7(国際的な視点から多様な問題の解決に取り組むことができる)です。 コース評価は、NUCBディプロマポリシーによります。

この授業では、学習目標を達成するために、ケースメソッドを使用してクラスディスカッションを行います。 授業にに参加する学生は、事前レポートを作成する必要がある場合があり、クラスのディスカッションに参加することが求められます。
【Importance of this course】

This course is designed for advanced students to develop academic and business writing skills in Japanese.

Learning goals of this course are LG1 (Critical Thinking) , LG4(Effective Communication), and LG7(International Perspectives (BA)). The course evaluations refer to NUCB Diploma Policy.

In this course, we will conduct class discussions using Case Method in order to achieve the learning goals. The students attending this course may be required to write a preparatory report and must participate in the class discussions.

具体的な到達目標は、以下の通りです。
(1)日本語の語彙、文法、バリエーションについて知る。
(2)学術およびビジネスレポートを作成できるようになる。
(3)実際の資料(生教材)の使用を通じて、上級レベルの自然な日本語の運用ができるようになる。


【Achievement Goal】

The specific objectives are:
(1) to know about vocabulary, grammar and variations of Japanese language.
(2) to be able to write academic and business reports.
(3) to develop fluency in using advanced structures and grammatical items typically used in authentic Japanese materials.

この授業を通じて、CEFRスケールのB2-C1(上級レベル)、またはJLPTスケールのN2-N1に相当する日本語能力を身につけることができます。

As a result of studying Japanese in this course, students are expected to acquire Japanese proficiency which is equivalent to B2-C1 (Advanced independent user) in CEFR scale or N2-N1 in JLPT scale.

事前学修と事後学修の内容、レポート、課題に対するフィードバック方法 Pre- and Post-Course Learning, Report, Feedback methods

・教科書を必ず購入すること。
・予習として各ユニットにある「問題」の理解(毎週3時間程度)、および復習として授業で学んだ各ユニットの「発展」の練習と例の作成(毎週3時間程度)。
・毎回の小テストは授業中、中間レポートに関しては、オフィスアワーに研究室で個別に対応する。
・上級レベルの日本語において、具体的な課題を通した文章表現能力の向上を目指す。
・日本語能力試験N1レベル文法の対策を取り入れる。
・ペアワークやディスカッションなどアクティビティの時間を多く設け、活動的な授業を行う。
・資料収集に積極的に大学図書館を活用すること。

授業調査に対するコメント Comment on Course Evaluation

昨年度の授業評価を踏まえて、大幅な変更はしない。今年度は授業中における学生の発言がさらに増えるようディスカッションの機会を多く設け、よりインターラクティブな授業にしていきたいと考えている。
