国際ボランティア活動についての学修を通じて、国際的に活躍できるグローバル人材の育成を図るという点で本学のMission Statementと関係している。
This course relates to the university's Mission Statement in that it aims to develop global human resources who can be active internationally through learning about international volunteer activities.

授業の目的（意義） / Importance of this course

本科目の目的は、国際ボランティア活動に関する基本概念や具体的な実践を理解することを通じて、グローバル人材になる上で必要な考え方や姿勢を学ぶことにある。また、本科目では国際ボランティア活動を含む国際協力全体を射程に含むが、学修を通して国際社会が抱える課題やその解決方法についての意見を持つことも目指す。したがって、本科目は国際ボランティア活動への参加予定者のみならず、グローバル社会での活躍を目指す学生も対象としている。
The purpose of this course is to learn the mindset and attitude necessary to become global human resources by understanding the fundamental concepts and specific practices of international volunteer activities. Furthermore, whilst this course encompasses international cooperation as a whole, including international volunteer activities, it also aims to enable students to form opinions on the challenges facing the international community and potential solutions through their studies. Therefore, this course is intended not only for those planning to participate in international volunteer activities, but also for students aiming to play an active role in the global society.

本科目では、国際ボランティア活動についての学修を通じて、多様性への気づきや、異なる立場の人々と関わる能力の向上を目指す（LG2、LG7）。また、講義における事例の検討を通じて、クリティカルシンキング能力（LG1）、グループ討議を通じて倫理的な意思決定（LG3）やコミュニケーション能力（LG4）を涵養する。

Through this course, students will acquire fundamental knowledge of international volunteer activities. Furthermore, based on this knowledge, students will be able to actively express their opinions on issues surrounding international volunteer activities.

事前学習として、課題文献を読んで自主的に考察を行い、意見を持って授業に参加すること（60分程度）。
毎授業終わりに小テストを実施するので、授業後は授業内容を復習し、自分の興味関心に応じて自主的に学修を深めること。
試験を定期試験期間中に実施する。
※予習・復習には中央情報センター（図書館）を活用すること。

  1. ケースメソッド教育の中核は、積極的な参加と知識の共有です。この教育を支えるため参加者は授業中の電子機器（例：スマートフォン、ノートパソコン）の使用を制限するよう求められます。許可を得た場合でも、教室内では電子機器は、ケース討議に資する目的でのみ使用してください。授業中は、たとえケース討議に関連していても、検索エンジンや生成AIの使用は避けて下さい。
  2. 配布教材（ケースを含む）は指定された授業への参加以外の目的で利用しないで下さい。著者の権利、著作権、特定情報の機密性を保護するため、許可なく教材を個人や組織（生成AI を含む）に提供することはできません。このルールは、印刷物・電子教材のいずれにも適用されます。
  1. Active participation and shared learning is at the core of the case method learning.Participants are asked to limit their use of electronic devices (e.g., laptops, smartphones) during classroom sessions in support of this model. Even with permission granted, devices should only be used in the classroom in service to the case discussion. Online searches and generative AI tools, even if related to the case discussion, are discouraged while class is in session.
  2. Students are prohibited from using the course materials (including cases) distributed by the university for any purpose other than participation in the designated class.Students must not input, process or test course materials with any artificial intelligence (AI) tools, bots, software, or platforms without the author’s permission. These actions violate the terms of use for the course materials and may also constitute copyright infringement.
