授業の目的(意義) / Importance of this course

今日、日本経済は「グローバリゼーション」の影響のもとで、高齢化の進展や円高、貿易摩擦、財政危機、
景気の低迷など、難しい問題に直面しています。こうした日本経済の現状について皆さんが基本的な知識を
習得するとともに、日本経済の今後の進むべき方向性について、主体的に考える能力を養うことが
この授業の目的です。主に、戦後復興からバブル崩壊までの歴史、崩壊後の現代日本経済の問題点、課題、
進むべき方向性等を扱う予定です。

また、就職活動では、グループディスカッションなどで意見を述べる事が求められますが、
自己の主張を正確に伝えることが出来るようになることも目標です。

「本科目では、上記のラーニングゴールの確かな実現に向けて、ケース教材を用いた討論授業を行います。本科目の履修者には、討論授業に参加するための予習レポートの作成と、クラスでの積極的な発言が求められます。」
There are some difficult problems such as an aging population combined with the diminishing number of children, high yen, a trade friction and a financial crisis in Japanese economy. The purposes of this lecture are that you learn basic knowledge about Japanese economy and get the ability to consider about the future of Japanese economy. Mainly, you learn a history from postwar years of recovery to a collapse of bubble economy, and a problem of present-day Japanese economy. It's also a goal that you get an ability to tell own insistence to others correctly.


In this course, we will conduct class discussions using case studies in order to achieve the learning goals. The students attending this course may be required to write a preparatory report and must participate in the class discussions.

You need to understand the situation of the (Japanese) market economy in order to become the business leader who have "Frontier Spirit," which is an education philosophy of NUCB. The knowledge learned in this lecture will help you to understand news. Therefore it would be useful for a job search.

・新聞記事について
毎回、新聞記事を一つ取り上げる予定です。出席をとる際に、それに関するコメントを
何でも良いので書いてください。授業に対する要望・不満でも結構です。

・レポートについて
レポートは評価の20%を占めます。主に、自分の考えを述べる内容です。

・期末試験について
最終講義の一週前に試験対策をします。どのように試験勉強すべきか、どのような問題が出るか、レクチャーします。

・自学自習方法について
教科書のほか、新聞、テレビ、インターネット、何でも良いので身の回りのニュースに耳を傾けましょう。

担当教員のプロフィール About the Instructor 

北海道大学大学院経済学研究科博士課程修了。博士(経済学)北海道大学専門研究員、名古屋商科大学経済学部講師、准教授を経て、2015年より現職。専門は理論経済学、経済学説史。現在の研究内容は、「企業属性や取引慣行、組織能力が価格設定行動に与える影響」、「価値論転換の歴史」、「中間財を含んだ国際貿易」の研究を行う。主な著書に『多様化する社会と多元化する知』(ナカニシヤ出版、共著)などがある。

Dr. Satoshi Yoshii is a Professor in the Faculty of Economics at Nagoya University of Commerce and Business, where he has taught since 2009. He received a Ph.D. in Economics from Hokkaido University (Hokkaido, Japan) in 2008, and B.A. in Economics from Hokkaido University (Hokkaido, Japan) in 2001.
He has been working on Price-setting behavior in empirical analysis and on a transformation of value theory in a history of economic thought and on new construction of the Ricardian theory of international Values in pure theory.
