Our university’s mission is to develop innovative and ethical leaders with "frontier spirit" and to create knowledge that will bring about the development of the business world and society.
In this course, in order to connect Asia and the rest of the world in the new era, we aim to learn the past and present of Asia and acquire a multifaceted perspective.

授業の目的（意義） / Importance of this course

アジアは地理的に範囲が広く、言語、文化、宗教、教育、政治体制及び社会・経済構造などにおいて実に多様性を呈しています。本講義では東南アジア地域と東アジア地域に焦点をあて、主に中国、韓国、マレージア、シンガポールなどの事例を取り上げることで、アジア域内の多言語・多文化状況、人の移動、教育をめぐる諸問題などについて理解し、考察を深めることを目的とします。
Asia has a wide geographical range and has a variety of languages, cultures, religions, education, political systems, or social and economic structures. This lecture aims to examine the cases including China, Korea, Malaysia, and Singapore to understand the relationship between the multilingual or multicultural conditions of each country and local education and the historical and social background of each country.

授業スケジュール　Course Schedule

第1日（Day1）

オリエンテーション　授業の概要説明
本講義で使われる主要な概念や理論、方法について説明する。



第2日（Day2）

アジアの文化の多様性を宗教・信仰の事例を通じて理解を深める。



第3日（Day3）

東南アジアの歴史を交易時代、植民地時代、国民国家形成に分けて理解する。



第4日（Day4）

マレーシアとシンガポールの歴史と多言語・多文化社会の課題について検討する。



第5日（Day5）

中国の改革・開放後の変化を、国内外への人の移動と格差などについて議論する。
