このコースは、本学のミッションに基づき、革新的でグローバルな人的資本を創出および育成するために、学生のビジネス研究スキルを育成することを目的としている。
This course intends to develop students’ research skills in order to create and nurture innovative and global human capital that are essential to the NUCB's Mission Statement.

授業の目的(意義) / Importance of this course

コースワークは、講義、グループワーク、レポート、およびプレゼンテーションで構成される。これらはすべて、ジェネリックスキルとビジネス研究スキル(LG-1:クリティカルシンキング、LG-4(コミュニケーション)、LG-5(ビジネスの視点)など)を身に付けることを目標としている。
In the first half of the semester, students will focus on acquiring relevant knowledge through a review of relevant literature and cases. The second half of the course moves on to research design including methodologies, methods, and academic writing.

このコースは、基本的な知識を開発し、それを実際の状況に適用するのに役立つ。
このコースで取得したLGsに関連するスキル(クリティカルシンキング [LG-1]、効果的なコミュニケーション [LG-4]、ビジネスの視点 [LG-5]など)を応用して、学士論文や将来のプロジェクト提案を作成できる。

This course serves to develop basic knowledge and apply it to real world situations.
Research skills (related to LGs such as critical thinking [LG-1] and communication skills (LG-4)) and experiences acquired in this course can be applied to write bachelors’ theses and/or project proposals in the future.

授業調査に対するコメント Comment on Course Evaluation

本コースではアクティブラーニングのアプローチを採用している。したがって授業に参加し発言しない学生は評価しない。慣れていない学生にとっては戸惑うアプローチかもしれないが、より深く学ぶためのアプローチだと思って真摯に取り組んで欲しい。また、特に統計学に関する内容を扱うことが多いため、留意すること。
