授業の目的（意義） / Importance of this course
本学はそのミッションにおいて、フロンティア・スピリットと共に、「高い倫 理観」を重要視している。フロンティア・スピリットが創造性によって「何をするべきか」を語るのであれば、「高い倫理観」は「何をするべきでないのか」を 問題にする。本講義はそれゆえ、本学ミッションの欠かすことの出来ない半分を主題とする。また都心型コースの別科目と同様に、本講義もまたアクティブラーニングを、ケースメソッドによって実践することになる。具体的な事例を通じて、企業活動においてどのような事柄が倫理的問題として取り上げられるべきであるのかを学ぶ。
経済 学は、その急速な発展によって、人々の需要と供給を効率的に満たすことに成功してきた。人々は、その生活のあらゆる部分に至るまで経済の成功を享受してお り、100年、200年前の人々とは比べ物にならないくらい豊かな生活を送っている。加えてクローバリゼーションによって、その成功は国内にとどまらず全 世界へと行き渡った。しかしながら、このように全世界へと行き渡った経済は、少なからぬ副作用を持っていたのである。例えば医療の領域においても、効率性 や受容と供給の論理が広がってことは、それが正しいことであるのか問われなければならない。あるいは環境に対して、経済が効率的に資源を取り続けることが どのような結果をもたらすのかが考えられるべきである。また、経済社会に生きる一個人についても、その倫理性は重要である。個人が企業の不正に気付いたと き、彼は内部告発という形でその不正をただすことができるのか。あるいは、技術者が技術的な危険性・リスクに対面した時、彼は企業の利益に反してもその危 険を事前に回避することが出来るのか。これらの問題は経済学とは別の論理によって、すなわちビジネス倫理によって扱われなければならない重要なものであ る。

In our mission, along with frontier spirit, we respect "high ethics" as important. If the frontier spirit talks about "what to do" by creativity, "high ethics" is "what should not be done" as a problem. Therefore, this lecture is subject to half the essential part of our mission. Also as with other subjects in the urban center course, this lecture will also practice active learning with case method. Through specific examples, we learn what kind of things should be taken up as ethical issues in corporate activities.
Economics has succeeded in efficiently satisfying people's supply and demand through its rapid development. People enjoy the economic success throughout every part of their lives and live a life that is rich enough not to compare with people 100 years or 200 years ago. In addition, through its clarification, its success has spread all over the world, not just in Japan. However, the economy which spread all over the world like this had a considerable side effect. For example in the medical field, it must be questioned whether the efficiency, the acceptance and supply logic expanded, that it is correct. It is necessary to consider how the economy keeps resources efficiently with respect to the environment or the environment. Ethics is also important for an individual living in an economic society. When an individual notices the corruption of a company, is he able to fix that corruption in the form of an internal accusation? Or, if technicians face technical risks and risks, will he be able to avoid the danger in advance against the interests of the company in advance? These issues are important by logic that is different from economics, that is, important by business ethics.
