授業の目的（意義） / Importance of this course
セミナーは教員と学生との個人的接触により、人格の陶冶と専門分野の研究を行うもので、本学教育の根幹をなします。大学教育は、マンモス化による 教師・学生間の対話欠如、知育偏重の教育内容など、久しくその本質を問われつづけています。そうした状況下、本学では師弟同行、すなわちチュートリアル制度をいちはやく実施してきました。これは教育の根底にある人間に着目したからです。真理の前に師と学生諸君が手を携え道を求めて前進する、師弟の魂の交流の中にこそ、現代教育に見失われた人間の復活があります。

The seminar is a personal contact between faculty members and students to cultivate personalities and conduct research in specialized fields, and is the foundation of education at the university. The nature of university education has been questioned for a long time due to the lack of dialogue between teachers and students and the overemphasis on intellectual education. Under such circumstances, we were among the first to implement the tutorial system, which is a system of teaching and learning together. This is because we focus on the human being as the basis of education. The revival of humanity, which has been lost in modern education, can be found in the exchange of souls between teacher and student, where the teacher and the student work hand in hand to move forward in search of the path before the truth.
By studying this subject, students can acquire the ability to write a graduation thesis, which is necessary at the present stage.
