授業の概要 Course Overview

Misson Statementとの関係性 / Connection to our Mission Statement

The goal of this seminar is for students to develop the `Frontier Spirit`, which is the teaching mission of the NUCB, and the global perspective, as well as the practical thinking, independent action, and communication skills that are essential for global leaders and innovative entrepreneurs.

授業の目的(意義) / Importance of this course

Currently, many Japanese companies are expanding their business around the world. However, in the era of globalization, the impact of several events which happened abroad - such as the "America First" policy of the U.S., Brexit of the UK, and the U.S.-China trade war – have given gradually strong impact on Japanese companies. Under these circumstances, there is a need for human resources who can accurately analyze and respond to changes in the international community.
This seminar aims to develop human resources who have the ability to survive in the business industry with a global perspective in the current globalized world.

到達目標 / Achievement Goal


In this seminar, students will decide a `research theme` related to the "world" according to each person's interests, and analyze the impact of events concerning the theme on Japanese companies.

Students are expected to acquire these abilities: to be interested in the world beyond Japan and to foster the ability to think comprehensively about various situations; to be able to improve English ability used in practice; to acquire presentation and writing skills.
