授業の概要　Course Overview

本科目では本学のミッションにあるようにグローバル、 フロンティアスピリットを持っていつでもどこでも（ ＝即ちグローバル）未知の事に積極的に取り組み、 成果を出す上で欠かせないリーダーシップについて授業を通じて強化する事に取り組みます。本講義では対話により一人一人がリーダーに関する事に対して興味を持ち、リーダーシップを発揮すべき手段を見つけ、リ ーダーシップを揮えるようになるための視点を学びながら演習をします。
This class will explore how you can develop global leadership, which is required for everywhere in the world. The class will be driven by case method and discussion, participant centered learning. This dialogue is quite important to aware your level and commitment of global leadership and gives many idea for your future leadership development. These topics are aligned with our mission statement.

授業の目的（意義） / Importance of this course

今、ビジネスでグローバル化していないものはありません。必然的にリーダーもグローバルな感覚を持ってビジネスをドライブする必要があります。グローバルでリーダーシップを振るうということは多様性に対して理解があり、尚且つそのような複雑な環境の中でも意思決定をして行動を起こせ、成果を出すことが求められます。
この授業ではこのような現代リーダーに求められる色々な機能を眺め、どのようなリーダーになっていけば良いかというガイドを作ることを目的としています。
No business entities could not away from globalization. The leader should require the sense of global business as well as standard/traditional leadership. The leader should manage complex organization as well as the range of geography. In this class, we explore the world of global leader and you would establish your leadership development plan and career.

事前学修と事後学修の内容、レポート、課題に対するフィードバック方法　Pre- and Post-Course Learning, Report, Feedback methods

This class has no examination but required to submit report by every class. Read case carefully and prepare your answer for each case question. Also, report will be expected in every class to consume approximately three hours in each.
本クラスは試験がないため、その代わりに毎回ケースを読んで、ケースクエッションの答えを考え、レポートを作成する事になります。このためにかけるべき時間は３時間程度であると思います。皆さんの習熟が進めば当然この時間は短くなります。また、その他の課題も随時でますがこちらは30分〜１時間程度のものになる予定です。
自分がもしリーダーシップをとる立場だったらどうするか？本当にそれは自分で実践できるのか？出来ないとしたら何が足りないのか？それはどうすればいつまでに補えるのか？を毎回考えましょう。

Bring your laptop, notepad to share your idea, activities in a classroom. Also, USB or equivalent media will be required to share and combine your idea wth other class mates.
グループワークなどもありますのでPCや情報を共有交換できるようにUSBなどのポータブルメディアを毎回持参しましょう。
The feedback of your report will be conducted when you need to revisit your report and develop more in the next report.
レポートについてのフィードバックは希望に応じ適時必要な場合行います。
If you fail to submit weekly report more than twice, we could not ensure your unit point.
尚、レポートの未提出または締め切り後提出が2回以上の場合、単位が厳しくなりますのでご注意ください。

クラスでの挙手発言を中心になります。
ただし、本クラスはテストがないのでマイカのレポート提出（期限厳守）も重視されます。レポート未提出、遅れは大きな減点になるだけでなく、3回目からは単位の取得に関しても保証できませんので注意してください。

1991年早稲田大学商学部卒業。富士総合研究所入社、ベンチャー経営、マーサー・ジャパン名古屋オフィスヘッド、同 プリンシパルを経て㈱ライトマネジメントジャパンプリンシパル。2005年より名古屋商科大学大学院にて教壇に立ち、2008年同教授。

Takehiko Ito is a Associate Dean/Professor of NUCB Business School and Councilor of Kurimoto Education Institute. He holds M.B.A. in Durham University Business School (U.K.) and B.A. in Waseda University (Japan). He is also a candidate of Ph.D. in Osaka University (Japan). He works approximately twenty years in business fields and had joined NUCB as a full time faculty. In business field, he achieved record breaking promotional track in Mercer, the largest human resource consulting company in the world, and Right Management, the third largest in the world. He played management role, including start-up e-recruiting company, more than twenty years and published four books in Japan. Takehiko Ito specializes leadership, sustainability, leadership development/assessment, presentation, human resource management as well as marketing heads role in the above two firms. He was also visiting professor role in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Lithuania and many guest speaker's opportunity in domestic/global conferences.
