授業の目的（意義） / Importance of this course
本セミナーの目標は、日本経済・世界経済の基礎、並びに論文を執筆するためのテクニックを
身につけることです。また現在、企業はコミュニケーション能力、問題発見・解決能力、
議論能力、プレゼン（発表）能力がある人材を求めています。
ゆえに、人と議論したり、コミュニケートする能力、パソコンによるプレゼン能力も養います。
また、就職活動では、グループディスカッションなどで意見を述べる事が求められますが、
自己の主張を正確に伝えることが出来るようになることも目標です。

The goal of this seminar is to acquire the fundamentals of the Japanese economy · world economy, and techniques to write a dissertation. Currently, companies are seeking human resources who have communication skills, problem discovery / solution ability, discussion ability and presentation (presentation) skills.
Therefore, I will cultivate the ability to discuss and communicate with people, presentation ability by PC.
Also, in job hunting activities, we are required to express opinions on group discussions. It is also a goal to be able to accurately convey self-assertions.

担当教員のプロフィール About the Instructor
北海道大学大学院経済学研究科博士課程修了。博士（経済学）北海道大学専門研究員、名古屋商科大学経済学部講師、准教授を経て、2015年より現職。専門は理論経済学、経済学説史。現在の研究内容は、「企業属性や取引慣行、組織能力が価格設定行動に与える影響」、「価値論転換の歴史」、「中間財を含んだ国際貿易」の研究を行う。主な著書に『多様化する社会と多元化する知』（ナカニシヤ出版、共著）などがある。
Dr. Satoshi Yoshii is a Professor in the Faculty of Economics at Nagoya University of Commerce and Business, where he has taught since 2009. He received a Ph.D. in Economics from Hokkaido University (Hokkaido, Japan) in 2008, and B.A. in Economics from Hokkaido University (Hokkaido, Japan) in 2001.
He has been working on Price-setting behavior in empirical analysis and on a transformation of value theory in a history of economic thought and on new construction of the Ricardian theory of international Values in pure theory.
