授業の概要 Course Overview

It is indispensable for business leaders to have wider scopes of social issues, and to think logically in analyzing present and future problems. It is also important to appreciate diversity in cultures and values. This course fosters students' understanding of global issues and enhances their critical thinking and communication skills.

授業の目的(意義) / Importance of this course

The objective of the seminar is to make students comprehend various social issues from global perspectives. Students are expected to acquire; the logical thinking skills to solve diverse problems; the importance of diversity; the importance of ethical and social decision-making; and the ability to convey and describe contents logically and clearly. In addition, students shall develop the ability to understand, consider and act on the issues facing the international community from a broad perspective.

In Seminar 6, students complete their graduation theses. Students shall acquire logical thinking from multiple perspectives, and the ability to convey and describe contents logically and clearly.

In Seminar 6, students complete their graduation theses. They shall be confident with their academic skills, particularly academic writing and presentation. Through their research, students shall identify social issues with global perspectives, think critically, and propose solutions.

4年次セミナーは卒論研究がメインとなりますので、毎週300分以上の自主学習が必要になります。
卒論のドラフトはコメントを付して返却し、修正を指示します。個別の質問に関してはオフィスアワーも活用してください。
図書館には卒論研究に必要な多くの参考図書が所蔵されていますし、CiNiiや学内データベース、あるいは「相互貸借」などを活用して図書館を通して様々なデータや論稿を入手してください。

受講生間で卒論を交換し、相互評価やコメントを行います。
また、後期後半の卒論発表は口頭試問となります。研究成果を20分の発表(PPTも作成)にまとめ、質問に答えられるように準備してください。
