This seminar fosters the "Frontier Spirit" and expands global perspectives. It enhances logical thinking and research skills while developing problem-solving abilities through literature review and data analysis. Students gain analytical and communication skills needed for academic and business success in a global society.
授業の目的（意義） / Importance of this course
This seminar aims to build a strong foundation in research while enhancing logical thinking and academic writing skills. Students will learn practical methods for literature review, structuring papers, and data analysis, developing problem-solving abilities through research. Discussions and presentations will provide opportunities to exchange ideas and deepen understanding. Through this process, students will acquire essential skills for writing their graduation thesis and conducting future research.

Students will understand the fundamentals of research, learn how to find and critically analyze relevant literature, and develop the ability to construct and write well-structured academic papers. 1．授業内容に応じて、事前課題が出されることがある。例えば、中央情報センター（図書館）を活用し、指定された文献を読んで要点をまとめたり、自分の研究テーマに関連する資料を探したりする。これにより、授業でのディスカッションやグループワークに効果的に参加できるようにする。
2．授業では、グループワークを含めた実践的な活動が多く、積極的な参加が求められる。意見を共有し、他者の考えを取り入れながら学びを深める。
3．授業後には、学んだ内容を整理する課題が出されることがあり、例えば、論文の一部を執筆したり、ディスカッションの振り返りを行ったりする。
4．課題やレポートに対するフィードバックは、参加者同士の相互評価と教師のフィードバックの両方を行い、より良い研究や文章作成につなげる。

成績評価は、事前課題、授業への積極的参加、最終レポート（セミナー論文）を総合して行う。授業ではグループディスカッションやプレゼンテーションが含まれ、積極的に参加することが求められる。特に、議論への貢献や建設的な意見の共有を評価し、平常点の枠を超えて優れた貢献をした場合は追加の加点対象とする。配布教材と教室における電子機器の利用マナーについて Guidelines for Classroom Technology and Proper Use of Course Materials
- ケースメソッド教育の中核は、積極的な参加と知識の共有です。この教育を支えるため参加者は授業中の電子機器（例：スマートフォン、ノートパソコン）の使用を制限するよう求められます。許可を得た場合でも、教室内では電子機器は、ケース討議に資する目的でのみ使用してください。授業中は、たとえケース討議に関連していても、検索エンジンや生成AIの使用は避けて下さい。
- 配布教材（ケースを含む）は指定された授業への参加以外の目的で利用しないで下さい。著者の権利、著作権、特定情報の機密性を保護するため、許可なく教材を個人や組織（生成AI を含む）に提供することはできません。このルールは、印刷物・電子教材のいずれにも適用されます。

- Active participation and shared learning is at the core of the case method learning.Participants are asked to limit their use of electronic devices (e.g., laptops, smartphones) during classroom sessions in support of this model. Even with permission granted, devices should only be used in the classroom in service to the case discussion. Online searches and generative AI tools, even if related to the case discussion, are discouraged while class is in session.
