Over seven weeks, students will explore the foundational principles of financial systems, time value of money, firm valuation, risk-return dynamics, ESG investment, and fintech innovations. The real-world case studies are provided to allow students to apply theoretical insights to contemporary financial challenges.

In an increasingly complex and interconnected global economy, a solid understanding of finance is crucial for making informed decisions, whether in business management, investment, or policymaking. This course equips students with the essential tools and frameworks to analyze financial systems, assess investment opportunities, and manage risks effectively. By covering fundamental topics like the time value of money, firm valuation, risk management, ESG investment and the role of fintech, students will gain practical skills applicable to various career paths in finance, consulting, and entrepreneurship. The integration of real-world case studies ensures that theoretical knowledge is not only learned but applied to solve actual financial challenges.
