授業の概要 Course Overview

It is indispensable for business leaders to have wider scopes of social issues, and to think logically in analyzing present and future problems. It is also important to appreciate diversity in cultures and values. This course fosters students' understanding of global issues and enhances their critical thinking and communication skills.
授業の目的（意義） / Importance of this course
The objective of the seminar is to make students comprehend various social issues from global perspectives. Students are expected to acquire； the logical thinking skills to solve diverse problems； the importance of diversity； the importance of ethical and social decision-making； and the ability to convey and describe contents logically and clearly. In addition, students shall develop the ability to understand, consider and act on the issues facing the international community from a broad perspective.

Students shall develop receptive minds towards diversity, foster critical thinking and ethical attitudes, and acquire communication skills with people of different cultural backgrounds.
In Seminar 5, students undertake further research on their research questions and reexamine the questions from wider perspectives. They are expected to read critically the literature and complete the writing of their theses.

イントロダクション, 文献サーベイ1. 就職活動状況および卒論研究進捗状況の確認。4年次のスケジュールおよび方針の説明
2. 文献検索。卒業予備論文をもとに、不足している情報や文献を検索する。CiNiiや学内データベースを使って学術論文も検索・入手する。

アカデミック・リーディング、ライティング1. 各自の論文テーマに沿った雑誌記事や学術論文を入手し、学術的な視点から読み解く練習をする。
2. 卒業予備論文を使って、学術論文の書き方を習得する。作表や作図の方法も習得してください。
