In this lecture, students will be able to grasp basic facts of Japanese economy and mounting challenges she faces today.
International comparison will be featured throughout the lecture.
This course consists of two parts.
Historical Overview (week 2－week 6)
Specific issues (week 7－week 14).
This course assumes neither prior knowledge of Japanese economy nor economics.
This course`s goals are LG-1 (critical thinking) and LG-2 (Diversity awareness).
