授業の概要 Course Overview

SEMINAR 3 is the third course of the sequence (SEMINAR 1-6). Through the courses, students will develop the necessary research skills to conduct a project leading to the production of a 4,000 word thesis in English. By doing research on their interests, students will also develop their ‘Frontier Spirit’, which is highlighted in our Mission Statement, to enter unexplored areas and propose the future directions.
The aim of SEMINAR 3 is to support students’ literature review writing and guide them to find the right methodology for their research questions.
By the end of SEMINAR 3, students will produce a 1,500-word literature review section, plan a research design to determine their methodology and/or collect a small set of data.

Here are some comments I received in the previous course evaluation for this seminar:

「卒論についての書き方だったり、プレゼンなどの経験ができて良い」
「やることがはっきりしていて、授業に取り組みやすいです。」
