授業の概要 Course Overview

This seminar assists students to foster a "Frontier Spirit", which is the mission of the university. In order to play an active role in the global society and acquire the power to survive in a rapidly changing era, we will know ourselves more deeply and understand the various societies better.
授業の目的（意義） / Importance of this course
The purpose of this seminar is to develop the ability to understand life in diverse ways. It enables students to learn independently, think deeply, and work creatively. At the seminar, students read various literature on Asia, find out the issues they are interested in, and develop a thesis. At the seminar, students will learn research methodology by conducting fieldwork and interviews.
到達目標 / Achievement Goal
At the seminar, we will expand the essential knowledge for writing a thesis and strengthen the information gathering ability. Moreover, the seminar will help students to become good presenters and listeners through deep discussions.
