授業の目的（意義） / Importance of this course
セミナーの目的は、自由競争市場における企業間競争が社会的な豊かさをもたらすためには市場にどのようなルールが必要であるかを研究し、卒業論文として成果を出すことです。企業はライバルとの厳しい競争に直面すると、利潤最大化のために３つのことを考えます。一つは、競争に生き残るために自らの能力を向上させることです。次は、競争相手と共謀して競争を回避する。最後は,競争相手を市場から駆逐することです。この３つの選択肢の各々にどのようなルールを設けたら企業の利潤最大化行動が、現在および将来の消費者の利益の増進につながるのかという問題は常に新しい課題をもつ研究分野なのです。 セミナー2ではセミナーレポートを書き上げるために、まずは自分の興味のあるテーマを設定して、セミナーでのプレゼンによる中間報告を経てレポートを完成させていきます
