授業の目的（意義） / Importance of this course

　本セミナーは、自らの問題意識を持ち、国内・国際社会での変動を正確に把握し、かつ敏感 に対応できる「社会人」の育成を目的とします。将来の日本社会を背負うビジネスリーダーになるとの自負を持ち、自学自修方法と批判的考察力を修得してください。
　セミナー２での目標は、セミナー論文の作成を通じて、読む・情報を収集する・集めた情報を分析する・論理的に考える・書くための基礎力を身につけることです。まずは、アカデミック・ライティングの基本を身につけるために、教科書を精読します。さらに、各自のテーマで文献検索を行い、セミナー論文の執筆作業を通じて、論文の書き方（アカデミック・ライティング）の基本を修得します。好奇心を旺盛にして、国内外情勢に関する幅広い関心を発展させてください。
　The objective of this seminar is to make students aware of current issues and the changes in the society in the phase of globalization. Students are expected to be business leaders in the future. Therefore. they shall have a clear sense of global perspectives, and be capable of responding the problems acutely and sensitively.
More focus would be given to academic writing in SEMINAR 2. Students learn about academic writing styles by reading academic papers and cases. Then students also learn how to undertake academic researches, and practice academic writing by completing a seminar progress report.

　セミナーでは、課題発見力や考察力、情報収集力、およびプレゼンテーション能力を育成するとともに、質疑応答を通して他者の発表を傾聴し理解する力やコミュニケーション能力を養成します。英語の教材も使いますので、英語でのコミュニケーション能力も養います。 特にSEMINAR 2では、アカデミック・ライティングの基本を習得します。

By studying proactively, students develop problem solving skills and communication skills, including discovering the topics, researching, analytical thinking, presenting and exchanging ideas. Communication skills in English would also be fostered. In SEMINAR 2 in particular, students would acquire basic academic writing skills.

学習方法
各自が選んだ文献の報告および研究調査の発表を中心に行います。課外での情報収集など各自のセミナー論文のテーマに関する調査に主体的に取り組んでください。

課題に対するフィードバック方法
他学生のプレゼンテーションやディスカッションから学ぶ姿勢を大切にしてください。課題はコメントを付して返却し、不十分な場合は再提出を指示します。

図書館の活用について
　社会情勢を知る上では、ウェブサイトの情報はとても有効です。けれども、ウェブサイトに氾濫する意見を鵜呑みにするのではなく、批判的に読み取る能力を身につける必要があります。自らの議論を展開するためには、信頼性の高いデータを入手したり、複数の客観的な論考を読んだりすることが必要です。図書館で、様々なデータや論考を入手する方法を修得してください。また、グループでのディスカッションやプレゼンテーション作成のために、図書館のグループスタディールームを活用してください。

第1日（Day1）

夏期休暇中の報告
1. 夏期休暇中の海外体験を中心に各自プレゼンテーションを行います。（英語が望ましい）
2. 同上


第2日（Day2）

文献精読および報告
1. 夏休み中に読んだ文献を各自がまとめ、プレゼンテーションを作成します。
2. 各自のプレゼンテーションをもとに、ディスカッションを行います。


第3日（Day3）

　文献精読および報告
1. 各自のプレゼンテーションをもとに、ディスカッションを行います。
2. 同上


第4日（Day4）

文献検索およびアカデミック・ライティング演習　
1. セミナー論文のテーマを決めて、文献検索を行います。
2. レポートなどを使って、アカデミック・ライティングの基本を修得します


第5日（Day5）

ディベート、ディスカッション
1. 事前に与えられたテーマでディベートを行います。
2. 個人の研究テーマをもとに、ディスカッションを行います。



第6日（Day6）

セミナー論文作成に向けて
1. 各自のセミナー論文のテーマに沿った文献調査やフィールド調査をまとめて発表します。
2. 同上


第7日（Day7）

セミナー論文作成
1.　セミナー論文発表
2.　提出されたセミナー論文を使って、再度アカデミック・ライティングの基本を修得します。
