授業の目的（意義） / Importance of this course

　The objective of this seminar is to make students aware of current issues and the changes in the society. Students are expected to be business leaders in the future. Therefore, they shall have a clear sense of global perspectives, and be capable of responding the problems acutely and sensitively.
In Seminar 4, students focus on undertaking researches for their own graduation theses. Students are expected to search and acquire appropriate information and data for their own research topics. In particular, they shall read academic papers in order to enhance their knowledge, as well as to develop logical and critical thinking. They are also expected to develop academic presentation skills.

　By studying proactively, students develop problem-solving skills and communication skills, including discovering the topics, researching, analytical thinking, presenting and exchanging ideas. In particular in Seminar 4, students undertake researches for their own topics of the graduation theses. They acquire specialized knowledge in their fields, as well as develop logical and critical thinking. Furthermore, they practice advanced presentation techniques and further develop communication skills.

学習方法
「自学自修方法」を学ぶことが本セミナーの目的です。そのためには、各自の卒論のテーマに沿って、図書館やインターネットを使っての資料収集や、課題のレポート作成、報告用のレジュメの作成など課題に積極的に取り組み、実践によってその方法を身につけてください。また他の人の報告から、論理的な議論の方法、資料調査の方法、わかりやすいレジュメの書き方や資料提示の方法など学びとる姿勢を大切にしてください。

課題に対するフィードバック方法
他学生のプレゼンテーションやディスカッションから学ぶ姿勢を大切にしてください。課題はコメントを付して返却し、不十分な場合は再提出を指示します。

図書館の活用について
　社会情勢を知る上では、ウェブサイトの情報はとても有効です。けれども、ウェブサイトに氾濫する意見を鵜呑みにするのではなく、批判的に読み取る能力を身につける必要があります。自らの議論を展開するためには、信頼性の高いデータを入手したり、複数の客観的な論考を読んだりすることが必要です。図書館で、様々なデータや論考を入手する方法を修得してください。
　

授業スケジュール　Course Schedule

第1日（Day1）

アカデミック・リサーチ、プレゼンテーション
1. 卒論研究に必要な基本的な文献の収集をします。CiNiiや学内データベースを使って学術論文なども検索・入手します。
2. 前期に作成したレポートを使って、プレゼンテーションを作成します。地図や図表の作成をして、より高度なプレゼンテーション・スキルを習得してください。


第2日（Day2）

アカデミック・リーディング
1. 卒論研究の参考文献を使って、読み方やまとめ方を練習します。
2. 各自の論文テーマに沿った雑誌記事や学術論文を入手し、学術的な視点から読み解く練習をします。


第3日（Day3）

ディスカッション、ディベート
1. それぞれの卒論のテーマでディスカッションをします。
2. 各人の提案したテーマでディベートを行います。


第4日（Day4）

アカデミック・リーディング、ライティング
1. 卒論の参考文献を使って内容をまとめ発表することによって、批判的考察力を養います。
2. 卒論の構成を考え、書き始めます。論文の書き方を習得します。作図や作表の方法も習得してください。


第5日（Day5）

アカデミック・プレゼンテーション
1. 各自の研究テーマで研究成果の発表を行います。レジュメの書き方も習得します。
2. 同上


第6日（Day6）

アカデミック・プレゼンテーション
1. 研究成果を発表します。
2. 同上


第7日（Day7）

アカデミック・ライティング、プレゼンテーション
1. 卒業予備論文提出。論文の書き方や書式を確認します。
2. 研究成果を発表します。4年次に向けて。
