授業の概要　Course Overview

Mission Statementとの関係性 / Connection to our Mission Statement

　この授業では、｢フロンティア・スピリットを持ったビジネスリーダー」というMission Statementを達成するために必要な各人の組織行動の在り方を学習する。
　　In this class, to achieve the mission statement of "a business leader with a frontier spirit, we will learn how each person's organizational behavior is necessary.

授業の目的（意義） / Importance of this course

　本授業は、組織における各個人の行動・取り組みを政治とリーダーシップいう観点から分析する。複数の人が集まり組織を形成すると、必ずそこに「政治」という概念が誕生する。「社内政治」という言葉に代表されるように、ビジネスの現場においても政治は決して無関係ではない。それどころか、社内政治の力学を理解することは、ビジネスの現場においてリーダーシップを発揮するための必要条件と言える（もちろん、十分条件ではない）。そこで、本講義では、まず社内政治に関するケースを用いて、政治的意思決定を迫られた各人の行動について分析する。その上で、分析結果がビジネスの現場でどのような意味を持ち、応用できるかをディスカッションする。
　　We analyze behavior of each individual in organization from the viewpoint of Politics and Leadership. Politics is not a concept limited to national and local government level. When two or more people gather, "Politics" always exists there. As represented by the word "Office Politics", Politics is never irrelevant in the field of business. In this class, we first analyze the behavior of each person by using case about Office Politics. Then, we discuss what the analytical results mean in the business field.

　最終的には、受講生が自らの所属する組織における様々な行動を政治という観点から分析する力を身に着けることを目的とする。

　　Finally, Students are expected to acquire the ability to analyze the behaviors of the organization they belong to from the perspective of Politics.

AM：部下掌握の政治学
オリジナルケース「部下掌握の政治学」を用いて、ビジネスの現場における部下掌握を政治学的に分析する。

PM：上司対応の政治学
オリジナルケース「上司対応の政治学」を用いて、ビジネスの現場における上司対応を政治学的に分析する。

第3日（Day3）

AM：人脈ネットワークの政治学
オリジナルケース「人脈ネットワークの政治学」を用いて、ビジネスの現場における人脈ネットワークを政治学的に分析する。

オリジナルケース「社内派閥の政治学」を用いて、ビジネスの現場における派閥を政治学的に分析する。

第4日（Day4）

まとめ
HBSで用いられているケースの邦訳「トーマス・グリーン：権力、社内政治、危機に陥るキャリア」を用いて、組織行動におけるリーダーシップに関して政治学を応用させて総合的に学ぶ。

Active participation and shared learning is at the core of the case method learning.Participants are asked to limit their use of electronic devices (e.g., laptops, smartphones) during classroom sessions in support of this model. Online searches and generative AI tools, even if related to the case discussion, are discouraged while class is in session.

①「ケースが簡単すぎる」というご意見に対して
オリジナルケースは意図的に「シンプル」なものにしていますが、「シンプル＝簡単」というわけではありません。むしろ、シンプルであるがこそ、本質的な議論に結び付くという点が担当者の考え方です。この点をご理解頂ければと思います。

②「受講生の意見同士を議論する時間をもっと増やしてほしい」というご意見に対して
この点は、意識してファシリテートしていきたいと思います。
