See below
As you pursue your careers, you will inevitably depend on people to accomplish organizational goals; you will need to work for other people, work with other people, and supervise other people. For this reason, an understanding of the human side of management is an essential complement to the technical skills you are learning in other core business courses. Although skills in finance, accounting, marketing, operations, and strategy are crucial for organizational success, the ability to manage an organization, its groups, and its individuals is equally important.
This course is an introduction to a few basic concepts and topics in social psychology that relate to organizational behaviors and consumer behaviors. Especially in this semester, we are going to gather ideas and visions on the way organizational values and behaviors are maintained or change under and after the COVID-19 pandemic crisis and discuss them in class. Main topics include culture and organizations, moral values and society/organizations, motivation and stereotype in intergroup relations.
Note. Details of each session schedule and readings and cases will be announced by early January, 2021.

The course aims to introduce a few important concepts and ideas in social psychology and explain how they are applied to advancement of organizational environments and group performance. Assigned reading articles were selected from both classic studies in social psychology (e.g., motivation, stereotypes, cultures) and recent studies that present their applications in real social/organizational contexts.
Psychological knowledge of introductory level would be helpful but not prerequisite. Students are expected to read assigned articles/cases before the class as scheduled. Preparatory report is to be submitted in hard copy to the instructor during the first session on Feb 6. This is requied for receiving final grades.
Final exam on Day 2 (Feb 7) will consist of questions examining students’ understanding of important concepts and ideas as well as their critical views of social psychology in organizations.
